Preparation for a Mammogram
DO NOT wear antiperspirant, talcum powder, perfume, or lotion under your arms on the day of your exam. Bring any prior Mammograms if possible, or have the facility’s name, address, and telephone number available. Comfortable clothing without any metal is recommended, and as always please bring your orders, insurance card, and identification.
Exam Time
Most Mammogram exams are completed in 10 to 15 minutes.
Exam Results
After your exam, the radiologist will review your images and a report will be sent directly to your physician. Reports are available within 24 to 72 hours.
